AMALFI COAST
Couples Trip

EXPLORE THE AMALFI COAST
Built on steep cliffs with villages cascading down towards the turquoise Tyrrhenian Sea, the Amalfi Coast is one of the most scenic stretches of coastline in Italy. Its ornate villas, domed churches, lemon groves and terraced vineyards have been attracting visitors since the Romans. The Amalfi Coast is a UNESCO World Heritage-listed stretch of coastline in Southern Italy’s Campania region, 60km south of Naples and 20km from Sorrento. It stretches for around 50km, with 13 towns and villages connected by a cliff-hugging serpentine road that’s one of the most breathtaking driving routes in Europe. Although the Amalfi Coast is often talked about like one place, it is actually pretty diverse. Each town has a different character, from glamorous Positano with its beach clubs and boutique shops to the quiet hillside village of Furore. Some are well-known and some are still fairly undiscovered, but all have plenty of charm and natural beauty.
You can't think of Southern Italy without dreaming of a trip to the Amalfi Coast. The most beautiful places in Campania have always been linked, in the collective imagination of dreamers and travelers alike, to the typically Mediterranean landscapes, flavors and warmth of the people.

We recommend packing light and airy pieces that can be layered in the evening. We will be sightseeing during the day so bring comfortable shoes and clothing you feel comfortable walking in. Bring a swimsuit, just in case! For women we recommend maxi/summer dresses, light weight pants or shorts, tank tops and short sleeved shirts. For men we recommend dress shirts, polos, light weight t shirts and pants as well as shorts. Dinner dress code will be business casual. If you ever wanted an excuse to dress up, traveling along the Amalfi Coast is a good reason!
Please remember to pack your passport and any medications you require. If you get car sick please bring something with you for the Amalfi Coast Drive (as a precaution).
